Open source flexilibity, enterprise-class capabilities

Contrary to proprietary virtualization platforms that lock you up in licenses, Proxmox VE offers enterprise-class virtualization with no license fees and no dependence on a provider. It gives you freedom to make your clusters evolve, to configure storage and to deploy virtual machines with no restrictive contracts.

Unified virtual machines & containers management

One of the main advantages of Proxmox is its ability to simultaneously execute Proxmox (LXC) containers and Proxmox (based on KVM) virtual machines. This enables you to optimize work loads: containers for light applications, and virtual machines for more resource-intensive or inherited systems.

Simplified clustering

Proxmox clustering enables companies to expand their infrastructure on multiple nodes. Thanks to centralized management, load balancing and failover capabilities, clusters ensure continuous availability of services.

High Availability, HA

Proxmox VE includes an integrated HA clustering, which ensures that the services remain online, even if a node fails.

Advanced network and security

Proxmox supports SDNs (Software-Defined Networks), firewalls and ready-to-use VPN configurations. These capabilities simplify workloads isolation, security policies application and multi-tenant environments management.

API-based automation

Proxmox offers a REST API and command line tools that simplify automation. It is actually the API we use in our central backend, developed in Golang.
