On Friday 14th October 2022 takes place the second ENISA Maritime Cybersecurity Conference. On this occasion, DIATEAM – represented by its founder & Chairman Guillaume PRIGENT- is to lead a demo of a realistic cyber attack targeting the port of Valencia.

This demo is the result of a joint work within the Cyber-MAR project of which DIATEAM is part.

After a short presentation of the benefits of Cyber Ranges and cyber training for the maritime world, Guillaume PRIGENT will launch the cyber attack by delivering a malware that will be executed thanks to a user’s interaction within the Information System of the port.

This peculiar malware has been designed by DIATEAM to propagate itself autonomously (using different CVEs) throughout the port’s information system and finally to lead actions on objectives that is to say : achieving the total disruption of the port’s smart grid plus the cryptolocking of the entire Windows infrastructure (Clients and servers).

This Cyber-MAR cyber range demonstrates the capabilities, on the one hand, to reproduce – as realistic as possible – digital maritime systems and which, and on the other hand, provides facilities to conduct blue teams and red teams exercices where IT and OT environments are both targeted.
